The GEISHAZ began with five Miami women DJs: Kaprah, IQ, Laura D, Medley, and Lady T, who carved space in South Florida’s dance music scene since the mid-’90s. What started as a local movement became a global network built on respect, skill, and authenticity.

For two decades, The GEISHAZ have celebrated and recognized women artists who hold their local scenes down with talent, integrity and originality. Every member represents more than music, showcasing technical mastery, creative vision, and earned respect in a male-dominated industry.

 As we mark 20 years, our mission remains clear, to uplift women artists worldwide, create meaningful connections, and inspire each other’s work, locally and globally.
