BIOGRAPHY
Born in Miami, Rose has been surrounded by music since she can remember. Her mother was a singer and a dancer, so she made it a point to help her appreciate music since she was born. In freshman year of high school Rose learned how to play the saxophone and the trumpet. It was then when she learned that she inherited something special from her mother. At about age 15, she was introduced to the "Rave" scene, in the form of Cosmos that was held in Central Florida. That night changed her life and that whole experience caused her to dive head first into the whole scene.
After her introduction to the scene, Rose got a job at Spec's Music in Miami Beach where her manager and underground pioneer DJ, the late Bruce Wilcox, took her under his wing and taught her all about the different genres of electroninc music. He ultimately encouraged her to take up DJing. At that time, there were not many females doing this at the time in Miami. Then, her friend and co-worker, PHATDAK asked her to play at this new pirate radio station called The Womb. In that time they were a pirate radio station as 107.1FM. They soon began a weekly show on Saturday nights from 12 - 2 am, that gave her the practice that she needed to go and play in clubs and events,,, The rest, as they say, is history!
Since then, Rose has been a resident at legendary Miami weeklies and played for promoters such as, The Church, MASS, Sense, WMC, Merck, Beat Camp and currently still has a show on www.womb.tv the 4th Wednesday of each month from 8pm-10pm.
