NU-ELECTROBIOGRAPHY
Danielle Berges was introduced to music while in middle school. She always had heard the violin was a difficult instrument to play, so she decided to challenge herself. The next quarter that year she was placed in advanced strings and started playing the cello and then on-to the guitar. Elektra always had problems with reading notes, so she would always play by ear. She soon started listening to the differnt types of music with dark and hard electronic sounds, like Nine Inch Nails. It was then when she began to explore EDM and electronic music as a 12 year-old cheerleader. There were always old-school, electro-sounding, break-beats she would hear for choreographed routines, and this made her realize how much she liked it.
A few years later Elektra started to travel more to the Southern-East part of Florida, and started going to the now extinct "raves”. One night, while talking to a friend at a club, she stated that if she was taught how to mix properly, she could do it in a heartbeat. She happened to be talking to the right person that moment. That‘s the same week she bought turntables, and came to find Nu-Skool Breaks, which is now her genre of choice.
