BIOGRAPHY
Megan McCauley was born in Oak Park, IL on August 22, 1974
and moved to Florida in 1975. Growing up in the Break dance era, she was surrounded with music from all the old school groups like Midnight Star, Afrika Baambataa, Run DMC, Debbie Deb, Miami Booty Bass and Freestyle.
She loved to dance, and started going out to clubs at 18. After going out to the parties in Tampa and not hearing the type of music she wanted to hear, she began buying my own records to be able to listen to a fresh new style.
In 1996, she began to mix the collection she had acquired. Surrounded by male friends that were djs, she decided to bring in her more bassy selection, and this girl can't get enough of it.
Electrochic Djs as a hobby, while holding down a job in the medical field. But, she still manages play at house parties and clubs in Tampa like The Masquerade and The Underground, as well as The Boom Boom Room in Miami.
