BIOGRAPHY
Music has always been an escape for RacHaeL. Ever since she could remember music has touched her and been an expressive outlet. Besides singing RacHaeL also has a love for drums and learned to play in grade school. She also wrote poems daily as another way for her to internally express feelings. This is how she eventually transpired poems into lyrics that have been used and can now be heard on many of her tracks today. After years of keeping her love of singing internal, MCR decided to pursue it instead.
After being introduced to the "Rave Scene" in the mid-nineties, she felt her music would make a connection with people like it was making with her. Prophecy was one of her main inspirations in the "scene". She started with making samples on Producers tracks such as Urban J, "VIBRONATION" and Alexander Orue, amongst others who would remix or request vocals from her. Not long after she got a taste of the Studio & Microphones. RacHaeL decided she wanted to perform her tracks live. Universal Dimension was the 1st track she chose, after that the rest is history. She was addicted! “Every project is fun for me and keeps me going till the next.”
MCR is currently featuring tracks on BeatPort for the release of "My Body Shop" and "Dance Mutha Funka" both produced by Urban J – Lyrics and Vocals by RacHaeL. "Dance Mutha Funka" is getting played at the moment exclusively by "DJ Icey"
RacHaeL is planning all new Shows with Urban J featuring MCR. She will now be MC-ing throughout the show and a part of the entire performance as opposed to being a featured artist. Remixes are already in the works for "My Body Shop”. RacHaeL also plans to have a Fashion line coming out this year called MCR Fashions....Stay tuned for more projects and events RacHaeL has going on.
